We’ve carried some of the most popular gels on the market and offered convenience-driven kits and tools to help streamline your business. But as the industry—and the world—changes, so must we.
Today, we’re announcing a major transition in our business model.
Discontinuing the Majority of Our Product Line
Due to rising tariffs, repeated price hikes, and increasingly unreliable shipping timelines, we are officially discontinuing all gels sourced from the U.S. This includes:
- PAP Gel
- Fusion16
- Fusion36
- Original Blended Gel
We know how beloved these formulas were, but continuing to import them is no longer sustainable. That said, this isn’t the end of premium whitening options at The Unicorn.
Supporting Local: A Shift to Canadian-Made Gels
We are currently working with Canadian manufacturers to stock locally made whitening gels that meet our standards for quality and consistency. This move allows us to support our communities more directly and stabilize our inventory. Our first formula is a replica of the Original blended gel, formulated with additional natural ingredients like wild Mint and Neem. The product will deliver even greater results while maintaining that less than 1% of the general population will experience sensitivity with this formula.
By sourcing closer to home, we can invest in the long-term sustainability of our supply chain and offer you products that don’t get caught up in customs delays or unpredictable international fees.
Phasing Out Overseas Consumables
We will also be phasing out the majority of our consumables, which are primarily sourced overseas. With companies like Amazon offering many of these items through third-party sellers at highly competitive prices, we can no longer justify continuing to stock them.
Instead, we will be focusing on offering only the essential, high-impact products—especially those that are difficult to find, uniquely curated by us, or locally produced.
If you love our cheek retractors or the convenience of our all-in-one service kits, we recommend stocking up now—these items will not be restocked once inventory is depleted.
